Heat Advisory: Protecting your order during the summer months
We understand that summer heat can be damaging to our heat-sensitive products. While we take steps like using ice packs during shipping, shipping early in the week to avoid an order layover on the weekend at a distribution center. Hot transport stages like semi-trailers, delivery trucks and distribution centers can still affect them.
To help ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, here are two recommendations:
- Track your package: Be aware of when your delivery is expected and try to be available to receive it. This minimizes the time it sits outside in the heat.
- Consider an alternative shipping address: If possible, have your order shipped to an address where someone will be present during the day (or ship to your place of work). This reduces the risk of it melting on a hot doorstep.
